Dr. Carlo Brugnara, MD is Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Hematology Laboratory at Boston Children’s Hospital. He received his MD from the University of Verona, Italy and trained in Clinical Pathology and Transfusion Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, and holds board certifications in both specialties. He is currently the Director of the Hematology Laboratory at Boston Children’s Hospital. Since 2007 he has been the Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Hematology.
Dr. Brugnara is a named inventor in 18 US patents, an author/coauthor of more than 250 original articles, book chapters and invited reviews.
